ACOSH in Teradata

ACOSH returns the inverse hyperbolic cosine of an argument and it is a Teradata extension to the ANSI SQL-99 standard.

Syntax:
SELECT ACOSH(float)

ACOSH(COSH(input)) = input



Note:
If the argument is not FLOAT, it is converted to a FLOAT value, based on implicit type conversion rules.
If the argument cannot be converted, an error is reported to the user.

Examples:
 SELECT ACOSH(3)

Result:1.76274717403909E
