SINH in Teradata

SINH returns the hyperbolic sine of an argument and it is a Teradata extension to the ANSI SQL-99 standard.

Syntax:
SELECT SINH(float)


Note:
If the argument is not FLOAT, it is converted to a FLOAT value, based on implicit type conversion rules.
If the argument cannot be converted, an error is reported to the user.

Examples:
 SELECT SINH(1)

Result: 1.17520119364380E
