IN in Teradata

The IN operator allows you to specify multiple values in a WHERE clause.
The SQL "IN" condition helps reduce the need to use multiple SQL "OR" conditions.

Syntax:
expression in (value1, value2, .... value_n);

Example:
SELECT *
FROM laptops
WHERE product_name in ('IBM', 'Hewlett Packard', 'Microsoft');

The above example is equivalent to
SELECT *
FROM laptops
WHERE product_name = 'IBM'
OR product_name = 'Hewlett Packard'
OR product_name = 'Microsoft';

IN with Numeric values:
SELECT *
FROM orders
WHERE order_id in (10000, 10001, 10003, 10005);
