BTEQ - PAGELENGTH in Teradata

It determines how many lines must be there in the printed page of output.
FORMAT must be on to get the effect of PAGELENGTH.
Syntax:
.SET PAGELENGTH n

Default value is 55.

Example:
.LOGON localtd/dbc, tdpass;
.EXPORT FILE = C:\tx\lines.txt;
.SET FORMAT ON;
.HEADING 'Top';
.FOOTING 'Bottom';
.SET PAGELENGTH 20;
SELECT * FROM forgetcode.tbl_employee;
.FORMAT OFF;
.LOGOFF;
.EXIT;

Please remember that PAGELENGTH will even suppress the output according to the length specified.
