TENACITY in Teradata

Teradata FastLoad has a feature named Tenacity that allows user to specify the number of hours that FastLoad continues trying to log on when the maximum number of load operations is already running on the Teradata Database.

By default the Tenacity feature is not turned on.
You can do this by adding tenacity in your script.
Tenacity n;

Where n specifies the number of hours FastLoad continues trying to logon. The n specification must be greater than zero. If zero is entered, Teradata FastLoad responds with an error message and terminates. During the Tenacity duration, FastLoad tries to log on every 6 minutes by default.

Here, the default duration stands for SLEEP command operation.
We can adjust the time by rendering SLEEP minutes.
