Remove an item in list in Python

In python, remove function can be used to remove the given item (only first occurrence) from the list. Raises value error if the item does not exist in the list.

Syntax
List.remove(value) -> None -- remove first occurrence of value.
Raises ValueError if the value is not present.


Example
cars = ["Mercedes Benz","Honda","Audi", "Volkswagen","Audi"]
cars.remove("Audi")
cars


Output
['Mercedes Benz', 'Honda', 'Volkswagen', 'Audi']
