Insert an element in list in Python

In python, insert function can be used to insert the element at a before the position in list. Unlike list, position of insertion can be specified in insert function.

Syntax
List.insert(index, object) -- insert object before index


Example
cars = ["Mercedes Benz","Honda","Audi", "Volkswagen","Audi"]
cars.insert(0,"Tesla")
cars


Output
['Tesla', 'Mercedes Benz', 'Honda', 'Audi', 'Volkswagen', 'Audi']
